URL Structure for Multilingual Websites
Is it enough to translate the keywords in English URLs? Or do I leave them in English for other countries as well? How about languages that do not use latin alphabet, like Chinese, Hindi or Russian?
When designing new URLs for different languages or countries, make sure that both users and Google understand these URLs: localizing your URLs is the best choice when starting from scratch. Google and other search engines may have problems understanding non-ASCII characters, so URL transcription is also needed.
